Helsinki Book Fair Winner
My swan illustration won the campaign picture competition organized by Helsinki Book Fair, the largest book event in Finland. In honour of the Finland 100 centenary the theme of the book fair will be Finland, so I chose swan, the national bird of Finland, as my illustration topic. There’s also a bigger story about tolerance and empathy behind the illustration.

Semifinalist in the ADA Awards
My project The Nose is an official Semifinalist in the 2016 Adobe Design Achievement Awards. I created the book cover design and illustrations for The Nose by Nikolai Gogol. The Nose is a satirical short story written between 1835 and 1836. It tells a story of a St. Petersburg official whose nose leaves his face and develops a life of it’s own.
